Bikefitting

What is Bikefitting?

Bike-fitting is designed to harmonise man and machine, utilising a unique 3-step integrated scientific evidence based approach to optimise comfort and performance as well as to reduce or resolve overuse cycling injuries.

What it involves

Cycling is becoming an increasingly popular sport with all age groups, genders and abilities and competitors alike due to the many health and recreational benefits.

Due to this growing demand our 3-step integrated packages integrates and optimises man and machine making it ideal for all types of riders with cycling injuries e.g. knee pain, back pain, musculoskeletal deficits or merely for those cyclists unable to get comfortable at foot/pedal interface. Our Bikefit packages come with a comprehensive and personalised report using the ultimate science and technology involved in Bikefitting today.

The 3-step process involves:-

  1. Pre-Bikefit Musculoskeletal Screening

  2. Personalised Rehabilitation Plan

  3. Discipline-Specific Bikefit

Nick was also able to set up the bike to exactly the right  parameters for my particular requirements.

Having observed my cycling action and the fact that my right knee troubled me after long rides, he recommended special inserts for my shoes which greatly reduced my discomfort.

Nick’s knowledge of treatment and exercises for cyclists is very impressive – thanks Nick."
