Muscle and Joint pain

There are various reasons why we experience muscle and joint pain; obvious causes include bodily trauma from accidents, injury and pathological (disease) conditions. Though there are other causes that may be attributed to such as;  poor posture, incorrect movement patterns and repetitive movements during our working, sedentary lifestyles and sporting activities.

Furthermore our emotions can manifest as pain such as; work stress, incidents that have affected us on a deep psychological level and for longstanding pain, our beliefs regarding our bodily conditions e.g. ‘I have a weak/damaged spine'.

We find from experience that muscle and joint pain from the latter groups often respond positively to our therapeutic interventions which are designed to suit the individual patient needs such as:

  • Manual/Physical Therapy

  • Joint Mobilisations

  • Medical Acupuncture

  • Specific Exercise protocols to restore muscle balance around a joint

  • Education and good posture and movement

  • Myofascial Release

  • Neuro-muscular and Muscle Energy Technique

  • Therapeutic Taping

  • Trigger point therapy

  • Electro-therapy

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy

Typical examples of conditions treated include:

No1 Pain Relief Clinic. Well that says it all..... Nick has successfully treat me for tennis elbow and ( unspecified but very painful) hip pain, his knowledge and ability is astonishing, I have seen Physiotherapists before and to be honest was very skeptical about their efficacy, but Nick is something else.

Don't put up with debilitating conditions, "Let the pro have a go !" ( New tag line for you there Nick, you can have that one from me.) Thanks
