Pregnancy pain

We understand that pregnancy can place demands on a woman's body structure and posture from constant changes to adapt to the growing baby. Many therapies that we offer can help relieve musculoskeletal discomfort and tension by helping the body's structure to cope with such demands. (e.g. therapeutic balancing techniques such as gentle stretching and exercise programmes pre-natal/post-natal massage, and reflexology to name a few).

Before proceeding with any treatment we make certain that their won't be any contra-indications by taking a careful obstetric history. As well as providing treatment depending on assessment findings, Nick will help you understand how to work with your body, through the constant changes which occur during pregnancy. He will also help you deal with any spinal or pelvic strains or other problems you may have through the transitional period leading to a happier, fulfilling pregnancy and beyond.
