Breuss Spinal Massage

What is Breuss Spinal Massage?

Breuss Spinal Massage is a complementary therapy developed by a late Austrian Rudolf Breuss. The treatment consists of a very gentle yet effective Spinal Massage that aims to safely stretch, nourish, realign and energise the patient’s spine.

How it works

The techniques involve gentle and safe mobilisations along the spine often combined with Dorn Method Therapy to help enhance the overall therapeutic effects to relieve aches and pains and muscular tension in the spine. For best results, a massage table is used, the therapist will also use a massage lubricant such as an oil base or lotion to help penetrate the skin layers so that the patient obtains the maximum benefit of their Breuss Spinal Massage.

Why choose Breuss Spinal Massage?

Breuss Spinal Massage is different from other types of classic massage as the techniques and sequences involved were specifically developed to benefit the spine. It is a unique form of body work therapy that primary aims to alleviate physical or energetic blockages that may occur in the spine which may help promote the regeneration process of undernourished intervertebral discs. It can also be beneficial for other types of musculoskeletal injuries particularly in the area of the sacrum. Following a Breuss Spinal Massage almost all feel relaxed or rejuvenated, whereas others comment on how their discomfort has been reduced or disappeared.

Three visits to Nick in 3 weeks and to my amazement not only did I make the start line but I ran the 26 miles, non-stop in under 4 hours, without any problems with my calf muscle..

His knowledge of anatomy was incredible. ...The pain I experienced disappeared almost instantly after I left the treatment room and has been a lot better since... Thanks Nick!
