How it works
Hands free massage combines Eastern and Western approaches of touch. The therapist performs the massage entirely hands free. Instead of using the hands as in other types of massage, the therapist uses the soft areas of the forearms and shoulders to produce a deep to superficial structural massage. The technique creates a very powerful but effective Hands Free Massage unlike any other massage. It is a very relaxing and soothing treatment as the therapist gently stimulates your body to respond to the systemic release of tension throughout the entire body.
What does it involve?
To perform the treatment the therapist utilises natural body weight with total economy of motion, avoiding muscular force for the transmission of pressure, or energy to achieve a highly effective powerful Hands Free Massage treatment. For best results, a massage table is used, the therapist will also use a massage lubricant such as an oil base or lotion to help penetrate the skin layers so that the patient obtains the maximum benefit of their Hands Free Massage.

After a car crash damaged my ankle thirty years ago, I have lived with constant swelling and pain, restricting my physical activities and disrupting my sleep.
Nick treated me at his clinic in Buxton with massage and a high vibration device which gave me instant relief. He went the extra mile and provided me with a thorough and detailed list of imaginative activities to alleviate my ankle problems, one of which is to walk across the swimming pool on tip toes!
He is very knowledgeable about physiotherapy, and shows patience and attention to detail when gaining an understanding of what is wrong.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nick to anyone who wants pain relief.
His knowledge of anatomy was incredible. ...The pain I experienced disappeared almost instantly after I left the treatment room and has been a lot better since... Thanks Nick!
